An electroacoustic composition combining voices and rhythms, created from recordings and ambient sounds found in Parisian café terraces.

It was conceived to be played through the Mezzo Forte sound tables, as part of Paris Design Week and the exhibition « Service compris ! » at the Historical Library of the City of Paris (BHVP).

This stereo version reveals the sounds travelling through the air and water around the ponds, from birdsong to the subtle sounds of fish feeding at the water's surface. It also features instruments designed to interact with these environments and translate the movements of water and wind into sound.

In an underground space, cracks, rustling, pulsations and sighs can be heard, evoking a form of buried presence.

In the Colombian Llanos, this composition draws inspiration from legends about birds. The story takes place near the city of Yopal, in a region of seasonally flooded tropical plains, in the middle of the night, when the forest and its nocturnal inhabitants awaken and begin to sing. I close my eyes and listen to the night speaking to me.
