Mezzo Forte

Design and fabrication of the Mezzo Forte sound tables for Ppdesigner's exhibition “Service compris!”, located in the upper courtyard of the Bibliothèque Historique de la Ville de Paris.

The Mezzo Forte tables were used during the exhibition's events (conferences, round-table discussions and readings), as well as during the opening reception.

An electroacoustic composition, “Dosette”, was created specifically to be played through these tables. The composition is built from recordings of conversations, sound effects and ambient sounds found on café terraces.

It recreates the sound environment of a café terrace and enhances the exhibition's scenography.
